Chief Wilton Littlechild present for Papal Apology
Honored Member Chief Wilton Littlechild celebrated his 78th birthday in Rome as a member of the Canadian Delegation of Indigenous leaders present for the Papal apology for Canadian Residential Schools.
As a survivor of the residential school system, and a prominent member of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission, this long-overdue apology was met with strong emotions.
