As a Business Council of Alberta Member, he plays a key role in shaping the economic landscape. Beyond his corporate leadership, Cunningham is recognized as a dedicated Community Coach and avid supporter of sports, showcasing a commitment to both business and community development.
Lloyd Bentz - Vice Chair
Former CEO of Alberta Sport Connection and accomplished Executive Manager with the Government of Alberta, Lloyd boasts a dynamic career in sports leadership. His extensive commitment is evident through board service on esteemed organizations like the Arctic Winter Games International Committee, Kidsport Canada, and WinSport.

Stephen Ohene-Adjei - Treasurer
Stephen is a dedicated Accountant currently serving at Pivotal LLP in Red Deer, Alberta. With a solid foundation built through previous engagements at Imperial Oil as an Accounting Analyst in Edmonton, Stephen brings a wealth of expertise to his current role. His professional journey extends beyond the corporate sphere, demonstrating a commitment to community service and mentorship.

Diane Jones Konihowski- Secretary​
Diane is a three-time Olympian, who has left an indelible mark on the Canadian sports landscape. Beyond her athletic achievements, she served as the Chef de Mission for the 2000 Canadian Olympic Team and later as the CEO of Kidsport. Her impactful leadership extends to board service with the Canadian Olympic Committee, Coaching Association of Canada, and FairPlay Canada. She is an Honoured Member of the Alberta Sports Hall of Fame.

Kelly Blackshaw - Director
With over forty years of leadership and sport development experience in Alberta, Kelly stands as a prominent figure in the province's athletic landscape. As the co-founder of Kidsport Society Alberta and former Vice Chair of Alberta Sport Connection, Kelly has been instrumental in shaping the trajectory of sports initiatives. Her dedication extends to chairing the Alberta Masters Games and contributing to the Calgary Olympic Development Association board. Now, as an esteemed member of the ASHF, Kelly is committed to preserving and celebrating the achievements of Alberta's athletes, builders, and teams. Her unwavering passion for sports and her extensive professional background make her an asset to the athletic community and beyond.

​Al Lucas - Director
Al brings over four decades of media experience to the Hall, complemented by a profound dedication to community service. His involvement with various boards in Central Alberta exemplifies his understanding of board dynamics and their pivotal role in community development. Among his volunteer endeavors are notable organizations such as the Westerner Exposition Board, Red Deer Regional Airport, The Lending Cupboard Foundation, Sutter Fund, Central Alberta Child Advocacy Battle of Alberta, 100 Men of Red Deer, and Red Deer Polytechnic Golf Classic. His active involvement in supporting non-profit organizations and events across Central Alberta reflects his commitment to community engagement. With over 40 years of experience in the media industry, Al currently collaborates with Harvard Media in Red Deer.

Terry Morris - Director
Terry Morris, a seasoned Director and Certified Management Consultant, brings a wealth of expertise from a distinguished career. As a retired Principal at both KPMG and Deloitte, Morris has left an enduring impact on the consulting landscape. Notably, his contributions extend to the world of sports, having served as a retired Curling Canada Event Manager, earning him recognition as an Honoured Member.

Kerry Moynihan - Director
Kerry is a distinguished graduate holding an Honours Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Sports Administration from Laurentian University. With a career spanning over four decades, Kerry has occupied senior management roles within various provincial and national sports federations. Notably, he served as the General Manager for the 1995 and 1997 Canada Games, showcasing his adeptness in organizational leadership. His enduring commitment to sports administration and community development continues to leave a lasting impact on both local and national levels.

Patrick Jarvis - Director
Patrick is an esteemed Organizational Training and Development Consultant, has not only excelled in his professional field but also made a significant mark in sports. As a Paralympian, his commitment extends to various Paralympic and Olympic roles, including the Governing Board of the International Paralympic Committee. Jarvis's influential presence is further evident through his service on multiple boards, including WinSport, Own the Podium, and SAIT, earning him recognition with the Order of Canada in 2010 and the Paralympic Order in 2018.​​

Sara Pretzlaff - Director
Sara is a dedicated Director and Critical Care Nurse, brings a unique blend of professional expertise to her role. With a commitment to sports administration, she has actively served on Organizing Committees for National Events. Additionally, her involvement on the Edmonton Keyano Swim Club Board underscores her passion for fostering excellence in aquatic sports within the community.

Dr. Tom Thompson - Director
Dr. Thompson brings decades of high-level experience in post-secondary education, athletics, and organizational governance. A former president of Olds College and Grande Prairie Regional College, Dr. Thompson has also held leadership roles with the Calgary Stampeders, Saskatchewan Roughriders, and Michigan Panthers, reflecting a deep commitment to building inclusive and sustainable communities through sport and education.

Destiny Whitney - Director
Destiny Whitney is an accomplished Indigenous sport leader and LPGA Class A Member. As General Manager of the Seven Chiefs Sportsplex, she has advanced Indigenous sport development, launched innovative youth programs, and championed diversity, equity, and inclusion through her strategic leadership and advocacy for women and Indigenous athletes.

Dale Henwood - Past Chair
Distinguished as the former President & CEO of the Canadian Sport Institute, Dale is a seasoned ice hockey coach with a rich history spanning College, University, National team, and three Olympic Games. A respected senior sport leader within the Provincial and Canadian sport systems, Dale has also made a significant impact internationally. Notably, he also holds the esteemed title of an Honoured Member.
